Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 2 1/4 c. unsifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. margarine, softened
- 1/4 c. granulated sugar
- 3/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 (4-serving size) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 2 eggs
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips
- In a medium mixing bowl combine flour and baking soda; set aside.
- In a large mixing bowl combine margarine, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and dry pudding mix.
- Beat until smooth and creamy.
- Beat in eggs.
- Gradually add flour mixture until well blended.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- (Batter will be stiff.)
- Drop by teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Makes about 7 dozen cookies.
