Taglarini
- 1 lb. lean ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can tomatoes with juice, chopped
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1 (16 1/2 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 1 (2 1/2 oz.) can black olives, chopped (save a few to garnish)
- 1 Tbsp. olive oil
- salt, pepper, red pepper, Tabasco sauce, Worcestershire sauce and chile powder to taste
- 1/3 to 1/2 box macaroni, cooked
- Cheddar cheese, sliced
- In a large heavy pot, combine tomatoes, tomato sauce, corn and olives; slowly heat.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil and saute onions and garlic.
- Add to pot.
- Saute beef in skillet until red is gone, then add to pot.
- Carefully add seasonings to taste. Cook about 10 to 15 minutes.
- Stir in cooked macaroni and remove from heat.
