Coconut Chocolate Chip Pan Cookies
- 2 1/4 c. unsifted flour
- 1 tsp. salt
- 3/4 c. white sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla flavoring
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. coconut
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. softened butter
- 3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside.
- In large bowl, combine butter, white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla flavoring; beat until creamy.
- Beat in eggs.
- Gradually add flour mixture; mix well.
- Stir in chocolate morsels, nuts and coconut.
- Spread in greased 15 x 10 x 1-inch baking pan.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 20 minutes.
- Let cool; cut into 2-inch squares.
- Makes 35 squares.
