Wacky Chocolate Cookies

  1. Cream margarine and sugar; beat in eggs.
  2. Stir in sauerkraut and vanilla.
  3. Sift together flour, cocoa, baking powder, soda and salt.
  4. With a wooden spoon gradually work into sauerkraut mixture. Drop by level teaspoonfuls, about 1 1/2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  5. Bake in preheated 375u0b0 oven for 8 to 10 minutes.
  6. Do not overbake.
  7. At once, remove with wide spatula to wire rack to cool.
  8. If desired, cover with chocolate frosting. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.
