Shove In The Oven Tuna Dish

  1. Drain peas, reserve liquid.
  2. Cook potatoes, carrots and onion in this liquid for 8 to 10 minutes.
  3. Drain and save liquid.
  4. Melt butter in saucepan; stir in flour to make a smooth paste.
  5. Add milk to vegetable liquid to make 2 cups.
  6. Add to butter mixture; cook over low heat; stir until mixture thickens.
  7. Add seasonings. Combine veggies and tuna in buttered 2 quart casserole.
  8. Pour sauce over all.
  9. May be refrigerated overnight.
  10. To serve, bake covered in slow oven at 325u0b0 for 1 hour.
  11. Makes 6 to 8 servings.
