Stuffed Jumbo Shells
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. jumbo shells
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1/3 c. minced onions
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- 2 (14 oz.) jars spaghetti sauce
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/3 c. cooking sherry
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. dry bread crumbs
- Prepare jumbo shells according to directions on box.
- Drain. In large skillet, melt margarine.
- Add beef and pork.
- Cook until lightly brown.
- Add onion, celery and garlic.
- Cook until tender. Remove from heat.
- Stir in sherry, cheese, salt and bread crumbs. Cool mixture for 10 minutes.
- Stuff shells with mixture.
- Pour 1 jar spaghetti sauce in bottom of 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Arrange shells in pan.
- Pour remaining sauce over the shells.
- Top with cheese. Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 35 minutes.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
