Giblet Gravy(Power Level: Medium, 50% And High, 100%)
- turkey giblets
- 2 c. water (broth or milk)
- 1/2 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1/2 c. turkey drippings
- 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. meat or poultry drippings
- 1 1/2 c. water (milk or half and half)
- 3 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- Pour drippings in 4-cup measure or 1-quart casserole. Microwave on High (100%) for 30 to 45 seconds until bubbly.
- Mix together cornstarch, salt, pepper and water until smooth.
- Stir into drippings.
- Microwave on High (100%) for 4 to 6 minutes or until thickened.
- Stir occasionally to prevent lumps.
- Serve immediately over meat, potatoes or dressing.
