Spinach Continental

  1. Let spinach thaw; drain well, then arrange in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
  2. Heat milk slowly with the 2 tablespoons of butter and American cheese until cheese melts.
  3. Cool, then stir in well beaten egg.
  4. Pour cheese sauce over spinach.
  5. Saute garlic in the 4 tablespoons of butter until browned; add toast cubes and stir until they absorb the butter.
  6. Drain toast cubes on absorbent paper and sprinkle with grated cheese.
  7. Arrange over top of sauce.
  8. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 30 minutes.
  9. Serves 6.
