Mocha Torte
- 3 egg whites
- 1/2 tsp. white vinegar
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla, divided
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 25 to 30 Ritz crackers, crushed with hands
- 1 c. whipping cream
- 1 tsp. instant coffee
- 1 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- small morsels, color or mint chocolates
- Beat
- egg
- whites until stiff.tdd vinegar.
- Gradually add sugar and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
- Beat well.
- Fold in chopped nuts and Ritz crackers.tpread in buttered 9 x 9-inch pan and bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.temove from oven and cool. To whipped cream, add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla, instant coffee and powdered sugar.
- Whip
- until stiff.tpread over cooled torte shell.
- Chill in refrigerator and add chocolate morsels before serving.
