Hot And Handy Spareribs

  1. Cut ribs into serving-size portions.
  2. Put in a shallow baking pan in single layer.
  3. Bake in a very hot oven (450u0b0) for 30 minutes, turning once.
  4. Drain off fat.
  5. Saute onion and garlic in butter in a saucepan until tender, 3 minutes.
  6. Add chili sauce, lemon juice, sugar, horseradish and salt.
  7. Bring to boil.
  8. Simmer 15 minutes on low heat.
  9. Brush ribs with sauce.
  10. Grill over grayed coals or broil 6 to 7 inches from heat for 20 minutes.
  11. Brush with sauce until ribs are nicely glazed.
