Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies
- 3/4 c. Jif creamy peanut butter
- 1 1/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbsp. vanilla
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. Crisco
- 3 Tbsp. milk
- 1 egg
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Combine Jif, Crisco, light brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl.
- Beat at medium speed with electric mixer until well blended.
- Add egg and beat until blended.
- Combine flour, salt and baking soda.
- Add to creamed mixture at low speed.
- Mix just until blended.
- Drop onto ungreased baking sheet and flatten slightly with tines of fork. Bake one baking sheet at a time at 375u0b0 for 7 to 9 minutes or until set and beginning to brown.
- Cool 2 minutes on sheet and then remove to foil on countertop to cool completely.
- Yields about 3 dozen.
