Weight Watcher'S Cheeseburger Pie
- 1 c. tomato sauce
- 4 oz. onion, diced
- 1/2 medium green pepper, diced
- 1 packet instant beef broth and seasoning mix
- artificial sweetener to equal 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 8 oz. cooked ground beef, crumbled
- 4 oz. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 c. cooked rice
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In a medium saucepan, combine first 7 ingredients.
- Simmer 8 to 10 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
- Add beef, 3 ounces cheese and rice; stir until cheese melts.
- Turn into an 8 x 8-inch pan treated with nonstick spray. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake for 1/2 hour.
- Remove from oven; allow to sit 10 to 15 minutes before cutting.
- Divide evenly.
- Makes 4 servings.
