Peach Cobbler

  1. Preheat oven to 450u0b0.
  2. Blend 1 cup sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon
  3. in
  4. saucepan.
  5. Stir
  6. in
  7. water
  8. and
  9. bring to a boil, stirring
  10. constantly.
  11. Remove from heat.
  12. Add butter and peaches. Pour
  13. into a shallow baking dish.
  14. Combine biscuit mix and 2 tablespoons of remaining sugar.
  15. Blend in cream.
  16. Drop dough in
  17. 6 mounds
  18. around edge of baking dish.
  19. Combine remaining 2 tablespoons sugar and orange peel.
  20. Sprinkle on dough.
  21. Bake 25 minutes
  22. or
  23. until
  24. peaches
  25. are tender and biscuits are golden brown.
  26. Serves 6.
