Mock Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1/2 c. thinly sliced green onions (use tops)
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. wide noodles, cooked and drained
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Brown beef.
- Drain.
- Stir in garlic, salt, pepper, sugar and sauce.
- Cook for 10 minutes.
- Combine onions, cream cheese and sour cream.
- Place half of noodles in 2-quart baking dish.
- Spread with half of cream cheese mixture and then half of meat mixture.
- Repeat layers.
- Cover and bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
- Remove and top with Cheddar cheese.
- Return to oven just to melt cheese.
- Serves 6 to 8.
