Chocolate Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Lightly grease a 9 x 13-inch pan.
  3. In saucepan over low heat (or in microwave), melt chocolate chips and margarine.
  4. Add crushed cookies and chopped pecans; mix well. Press half of mixture firmly in greased pan.
  5. Reserve rest for topping.
  6. Combine cream cheese, egg, vanilla and sweetened condensed milk in medium bowl.
  7. Beat on medium speed until fluffy. Pour into crust-lined pan.
  8. Top with reserved crumbs.
  9. Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
  10. Cool to room temperature.
  11. Chill before cutting into bars. Makes 36 bars.
  12. Store leftovers in refrigerator.
