Bubble Loaf

  1. Combine yeast and warm water in large bowl; let stand 5 minutes.

  3. saucepan combine next 4 ingredients until butter melts.
  4. Stir
  5. in
  6. yeast
  7. mixture.
  8. Add 1 cup flour; beat until dough
  9. is
  10. elastic.
  11. Add
  12. eggs,
  13. graduallyttir in 2 1/2 cups flour
  14. to form a stiff dough.
  15. On floured surface, knead dough for 15 minutes.
  16. Place in greased bowl, cover, let rise, until doubled.
  17. Divide
  18. dough
  19. in
  20. half. Cut each 1/2 into 8 pieces. Shape
  21. each
  22. piece into a ball, dip into melted butter.
  23. Place in 9 x 5-inch loaf pan, sprinkle with herbs.
  24. Let rise again. Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 to 55 minutes.
