Stuffed Bell Peppers

  1. Cut bell peppers in half and clean.
  2. Parboil the peppers until tender, saving some of the water.
  3. Put peppers aside to drain. Chop all vegetables and place in a large pot with oil.
  4. Saute vegetables until clear.
  5. Put ground round, ground pork and ham in pot.
  6. Cook until brown.
  7. Drain off excess grease.
  8. Put in potted meat.
  9. Salt and pepper to taste.
  10. Cook on low heat for about 1 hour.
  11. Turn off.
  12. Add bread crumbs to dressing.
  13. If too stiff, add water from peppers.
  14. Take pepper shells and stuff with dressing. Dust with bread crumbs and dot with butter.
  15. Bake until hot.
