German Potato Salad

  1. Blend flour and 2 tablespoons water in a small saucepan; add remaining water, vinegar, sugar, pepper and 2 teaspoons salt.
  2. Stir until mixture boils.
  3. Place potatoes, onion, green pepper and celery in a large bowl and toss lightly.
  4. Pour in hot dressing and mix well.
  5. Cool to room temperature; add crumbled bacon and eggs. Toss again.
  6. Taste for salt; add more if needed.
  7. Serve at room temperature.
  8. Serves 6, about 250 calories per serving.
