Scripture Cake(Look Up The References In The Old Testament)

  1. Cream butter, add sugar gradually beating until light.
  2. Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating thoroughly after each addition.
  3. Beat in honey.
  4. Add sifted dry ingredients, alternating with the milk, beating only until smooth.
  5. Stir in nuts and fruits.
  6. Fold in stiffly beaten egg whites and pour into 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan, lined on bottom with waxed paper.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 in preheated oven 1 hour or until done.
  8. Cool cake in pan 5 to 10 minutes, turn out on rack and peel off paper.
  9. Turn right side up to cool.
