Leftover Thanksgiving Turkey Sandwiches Recipe
- 1 ficelle or thin baguette
- 1/2 cup of mayonnaise
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- Salt and pepper
- 7 slices of Munster cheese
- 1/2 pound of thinly sliced roasted turkey breast
- 6 slices of good bacon, roasted at 425 degrees for 10 minutes
- 1 cup of frisee lettuce
- Slice the baguette in half horizontally.
- Combine the mayonnaise, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt and pepper, and paint it on both halves of the bread.
- Fold each slice of Munster in half, and arrange, overlapping, so all the slices fit onto the bottom piece of ficelle.
- Arrange the turkey on top of the cheese, followed by the bacon, and then the frisee.
- Top with the top of the bread, and slice into as many sandwiches as your require.
- Serve like this, or put into a Panini press for toasted sandwiches.
