Hamburger - Harvest Casserole
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. flour
- 1 pkg. frozen limas, thawed
- 1 green pepper, slivered
- 1 c. minced onions
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 2 c. thinly sliced raw potatoes
- 1 pkg. frozen corn, thawed
- 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- Combine beef, onions, tomatoes, Worcestershire sauce and salt.
- Pat into 1-inch layer in a 3-quart buttered casserole dish.
- On top, place in layers, potatoes, flour, corn, limas and then green peppers.
- Bake, covered, 45 minutes, then sprinkle with cheese and bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes longer or until vegetables are tender.
- Makes 8 servings.
- For less, cut recipe in half.
