Tagliarini
- 2 lb. hamburger meat
- 1 medium onion
- 1 large can tomato sauce
- 1 can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 large can pitted ripe olives or 3 small cans, chopped
- 1 lb. Cheddar cheese
- 1 green pepper
- 1 tsp. chili powder
- 1 pkg. wide noodles
- Chop the pepper and onion.
- Brown in olive oil.
- Add the hamburger and brown. Add chili powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Add tomato sauce.
- Cook the noodles according to package directions. Combine noodles, corn and meat mixture.
- Chop olives into small pieces and add to mixture. Save a few whole olives for top.
- Grate cheese and sprinkle on top.
- (I mix at least half of the cheese in with the meat mixture.)
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
- Turn oven off and let casserole remain in oven for 15 minutes before serving.
- Serves 8.
