Oven Barbecued Steak

  1. Combine all ingredients, except steak, salt and pepper, in saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes over low heat.
  3. Keep sauce hot.
  4. Cut steak into serving size pieces; season generously with garlic, salt and pepper.
  5. Place pieces in casserole or baking dish.
  6. Pour hot sauce over steak.
  7. Bake in a 325u0b0 oven for about 1 1/2 hours, or until fork-tender.
  8. Garnish with bell pepper rings, if desired.
  9. Makes 4 to 5 servings.
