Spaghetti Chop Chop
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 medium green pepper
- 2 c. hot cooked spaghetti
- 1 (16 oz.) can Chinese vegetables, drained
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of shrimp soup
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 1 (4 1/2 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
- 3/4 c. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1/2 c. water
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. finely chopped onion
- Heat oven to 375u0b0.
- Cook and stir ground beef until light brown.
- Drain.
- Slice 3 rings from green pepper.
- Reserve for garnish.
- Chop remaining green pepper.
- Stir pepper and remaining ingredients, except cheese, into meat.
- Pour into ungreased 2-quart casserole.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes.
- Top with green pepper rings; bake 5 minutes more.
