Macaroni Casserole
- 1 pkg. shell macaroni (1 lb.), cooked
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 can corn, drained
- 1 can tomatoes, chopped
- 1 pkg. frozen peas
- 1/2 c. celery, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. red pepper
- 1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
- 1/2 c. chopped olives
- 1 c. half and half
- 2 c. sharp cheese, shredded
- 4 Tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- Cook macaroni.
- Drain and set aside.
- In skillet, melt butter. Add onion and cook until done.
- Set aside.
- Add hamburger to pan and cook until well browned.
- Mix in onion.
- Put 1/2 of the macaroni in bottom of shallow baking dish.
- Add meat, onion, corn, peas, tomatoes and celery.
- Sprinkle red pepper, oregano and olives.
- Pour half and half over top.
- Add rest of macaroni and cheese and bake for 35 minutes at 375u0b0 or until cheese is melted and slightly browned.
