Kit-Kat Bars
- Waverly or Club crackers
- 1 c. margarine or butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white sugar
- 1/2 c. milk
- 2 c. graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 c. butterscotch chips
- 1/2 c. chocolate chips
- 2/3 c. peanut butter
- Place a layer of Waverly or Club crackers in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Melt 1 cup margarine or butter in a saucepan. Add the brown sugar and white sugar.
- Mix. Add the milk and mix. Add the graham cracker crumbs gradually.
- Bring to a boil. Boil 5 minutes. Stir or it may burn.
- Spread half of that mixture on the layer of crackers.
- Lay on another layer of crackers using a different pattern (this will keep them from falling apart when cut).
- Spread the rest of the mixture on that layer.
- Lay on another layer of crackers, using original pattern.
- Melt the butterscotch chips and chocolate chips. Add the peanut butter. Melt together and mix well.
- Spread over top.
- Cool completely. (Perhaps refrigerate for 1 hour.)
- Cut and enjoy.
