Chalupa

  1. Brown ground beef, drain fat.
  2. Add onions, hash browns, cumin, garlic salt, water and simmer covered on medium heat.
  3. In a different pan add oil.
  4. On high heat, fry flour
  5. tortillas pushing air pockets out until lightly brown.
  6. Place tortilla on plate. Then while you are frying the tortillas heat beans in separate pan on low heat stirring constantly for 5 - 10 minutes.
  7. After beans are cooked, spread a spoonful on tortilla.
  8. Add 3 - 5 Tbsp. of beef on top of beans.
  9. Add lettuce, cheese, sauce and salt. Serves 6 - 8.
