Casserole For Leftover Turkey And Stuffing
- 2 cans cream of chicken, celery or any cream soup (undiluted)
- 1 can cut up mushrooms or other vegetables
- 5 to 6 c. cut up turkey or chicken
- leftover stuffing
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 c. coarsely shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 unbaked 9-inch pie shell
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. thin sliced ham, cut in thin strips
- 2 green onions with tops, sliced thin
- 4 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 1/4 c. half and half
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of cayenne
- 1/4 tsp. ground nutmeg
- Sprinkle cheese in pie shell, then ham and onions.
- Beat eggs, half and half and seasoning to blend.
- Pour into pie shell.
- Bake on lowest rack in preheated oven at 350u0b0 for about 10 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center of pie comes out clean.
- Let stand about 10 minutes before serving.
