Chili Con Carne

  1. Chop up Italian sausage with fork in frying pan.
  2. Saute until it turns brown.
  3. Add onion and garlic.
  4. Saute until onion is transparent.
  5. Drain mixture on paper towels.
  6. Pat with towels on top to absorb grease.
  7. Put mixture in soup pan; add rest of ingredients, including spices.
  8. Simmer for 1 1/2 to 2 hours, adding water as needed.
