Baked Beans
- 1/2 lb. bacon
- 1 1/2 c. diced onions
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1 (1 1/2 oz.) envelope spaghetti sauce mix
- 1 c. diced celery
- 2 Tbsp. cider vinegar
- 1 tsp. garlic salt
- 3 (1 lb.) cans white Northern beans
- 2 (1 lb.) cans dry lima beans
- 1 (1 lb.) can red kidney beans
- Fry bacon; save.
- Saute onion and celery in bacon fat.
- Drain beans and save liquid.
- Add sauce ingredients using liquid from beans for amount of water called for in mix.
- Bring to boil.
- Add beans and bring back to boil.
- Add more of liquid if needed.
- Bake in 350u0b0 oven for 1 hour after covering with bacon.
