Strawberry-Pretzel Squares
- 2 c. finely crushed pretzels
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 2/3 c. margarine, melted
- 12 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 2 Tbsp. milk
- 1 c. whipped topping
- 2 c. boiling water
- 1 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
- 1 1/2 c. cold water
- 2 pt. sliced strawberries
- Heat oven to 350u0b0.
- Mix pretzels, 1/3 cup sugar and margarine. Press firmly into 13 x 9-inch baking dish.
- Bake 10 minutes and cool.
- Beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar and milk until smooth. Stir in whipped topping.
- Spread over crust.
- Refrigerate.
- Stir boiling water into Jell-O in large bowl until completely dissolved. Stir in cold water.
- Refrigerate 1 1/2 hours or until thickened. Stir in strawberries.
- Spoon over cream cheese layer.
- Refrigerate 3 hours or until firm.
- Cut into squares.
- Makes 15 to 18 servings.
