Easy-Does-It Donuts

  1. In medium
  2. mixing
  3. bowl,
  4. beattggs; set aside.
  5. Drain both cans of
  6. apples
  7. or blueberries from muffin mixes; add to beaten eggs.
  8. Stir
  9. in
  10. flour
  11. and dry muffin mixes.
  12. On well floured pastry
  13. sheet,
  14. roll out dough to 1/2-inch thickness. Cut out doughnuts with a floured, 2 1/2-inch diameter doughnut cutter, pressing straight down.
  15. Meanwhile, in a large saucepan,
  16. or
  17. deep fat
  18. fryer, heat cooking oil to 375u0b0.
  19. Fry the doughnuts and holes,
  20. a few at a time, for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes ortntil golden brown, turning several times.
  21. Drain on paper toweling.
  22. If desired,
  23. sprinkletowdered sugar over tops or roll
  24. in granulatedtugar
  25. or
  26. cinnamon sugar.
  27. Store cooled doughnuts in a sealed container.
