Clam Casino Dip
- 1 stick butter
- 1 small onion
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/2 c. red bell pepper
- 1/2 c. green pepper
- 4 tsp. parsley
- 1 tsp. Tabasco
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 3 (6 oz.) cans clams, chopped with juice
- 1 tsp. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
- 3/4 c. breadcrumbs
- 8 pieces bacon, cooked and chopped
- Saute butter, onion, garlic and peppers.
- Add parsley, Tabasco, garlic powder and oregano.
- Stir.
- Add clams and lemon juice and Parmesan cheese.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- Add bread crumbs and bacon.
- Put into casserole dish.
- Bake at 400u0b0 for 10 to 15 minutes until hot and bubbly.
- Serve with crackers.
