Beefed-Up Biscuit Casserole

  1. Brown ground beef, onion and peppers.
  2. Stir in sauce, chili powder and salt.
  3. Simmer while preparing dough.
  4. Separate each biscuit in halves and press 1/2 over bottom of ungreased 13 x 9-inch pan.
  5. Combine 1/2 cup cheese (reserve remaining 1 cup for top), sour cream and eggs and mix well.
  6. Remove meat mixture from heat; stir in sour cream mixture and spoon over dough.
  7. Arrange remaining biscuits on top.
  8. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  9. Bake at 375u0b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
