Taiwanese Style Fried Rice
- 1 c. rice
- 4 c. water
- 1 medium onion
- 1 1/2 c. cabbage
- 1 1/2 lb. pork (or ham, chicken, shrimp, beef or duck)
- 2 Tbsp. soy sauce
- 3 eggs
- dash of milk
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 medium green pepper
- 4 Tbsp. oleo
- 1/4 tsp. Accent
- 1/4 tsp. celery salt
- dash of garlic salt
- Cook rice in 4 cups water.
- Scramble eggs, milk and salt and pepper; set aside.
- Chop onion, cabbage, green pepper and meat into 1/2-inch cubes or smaller.
- Fry veggies in oleo for 1 minute. Add pork, stirring constantly.
- Cover and cook 10 minutes or until pork is done.
- If too much liquid, drain off most.
- Add Accent, celery and garlic salt and soy sauce.
- Add rice; cook 3 to 4 minutes.
- Add eggs and cook 3 to 4 minutes.
- Enjoy.
