Chunky Beef Noodle Soup

  1. Cook and stir beef, onion and garlic in oil until beef is done.
  2. Stir in water, chili powder, salt, oregano, tomatoes and broth.
  3. Heat to boiling.
  4. Reduce heat.
  5. Cover and simmer until beef is tender, about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
  6. Skim excess fat from soup.
  7. Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
  8. Stir in noodles and green pepper.
  9. Simmer, uncovered, until noodles are tender.
  10. Stir in parsley.
