Upside-Down Apple Pecan Pie

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. In 9-inch pie pan, combine pecans, brown sugar and margarine.
  3. Spread evenly over bottom of pan. Prepare pie crust for 2 crust pie.
  4. Place bottom crust over pecan mixture in pan.
  5. In large bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour and cinnamon.
  6. Mix lightly.
  7. Spoon into pie crust lined pan.
  8. Top with second crust.
  9. Cut slits in several places.
  10. Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
  11. Cool pie upright in pan for 5 minutes.
  12. Place serving plate over pie.
  13. Invert.
  14. (You may need to take a knife between pan and crust before inverting it.) Carefully remove pan. Some nuts may remain in pan.
  15. Replace on pie with knife.
  16. Cool before serving.
