Chili (Hot)
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 1 small green pepper, diced
- 3 Tbsp. oil
- 1 1/2 lb. ground beef
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder
- 4 Tbsp. diced jalapeno peppers
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 large can kidney beans
- 1 small can tomato paste
- cooked spaghetti or saltines
- On medium heat, saute onions and green pepper in oil, while adding ground beef.
- Cook until all beef is brown.
- Add chili powder, jalapeno peppers and crushed red pepper.
- Stir to mix. Cook 3 minutes.
- Add stewed tomatoes, kidney beans and tomato paste.
- Cook to boiling, then reduce heat to low and cook 2 to 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Serve over cooked spaghetti, or with saltines.
