Peanut Butter-Chocolate Bonbons

  1. Combine the powdered sugar, graham cracker crumbs, pecans and coconut.
  2. In a small saucepan, melt margarine and peanut butter; pour over coconut mixture.
  3. Blend until mixture is moistened. Shape mixture into 1-inch balls.
  4. In another small saucepan, over low heat, melt the chocolate pieces with the shortening.
  5. Spear the balls on wooden picks; dip individually into chocolate mixture to coat.
  6. Place balls on waxed paper; chill to set.
  7. Store, tightly covered, in a cool place.
