German Chocolate Snackin' Bars

  1. Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
  2. In a medium saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate with margarine.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in 1/2 cup milk, eggs, biscuit mix and vanilla.
  5. Spread evenly into a greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
  6. In a medium bowl, combine remaining milk and coconut; spoon in small amounts over chocolate mixture.
  7. Sprinkle nuts on top; press
  8. down firmly.
  9. Bake for 25 minutes, or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
  10. Cool thoroughly. Cut into bars.
  11. Store, loosely covered, at room temperature. Makes 36 bars.
