English Pea Casserole

  1. Using
  2. one
  3. stick
  4. butter,
  5. saute
  6. celery,
  7. pepper
  8. and onions.
  9. In
  10. a separate large bowl, mix peas, water chestnuts, pimento, mushrooms and soup.
  11. Add sauteed vegetables and place in large
  12. casserole
  13. dish.
  14. Top
  15. withtread crumbs which have been dipped in 1/2 stick of melted butter.
  16. Bake at 450u0b0 until bubbly and crumbs are brown.
