Three Cheese And Chicken Bake
- 8 oz. wide lasagne noodles, cooked
- 1/2 c. green peppers, chopped
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 3 tsp. butter
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (condensed)
- 1/3 c. milk
- 1 (6 oz.) can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 1/4 c. pimento, chopped
- 1/2 tsp. basil
- 1 1/2 c. creamed cottage cheese
- 3 c. cooked chicken, diced
- 2 c. Ricotta cheese
- 1/2 c. shredded sharp cheese
- Saute green peppers and onion in butter.
- Stir in soup, milk and mushrooms.
- Add pimento.
- Place half of noodles in a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Cover with half of each: mushroom sauce, cottage cheese, chicken and cheese.
- Repeat layers.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for approximately 45 minutes.
- Serve with refreshing tossed salad and chilled fruit.
