Curry And Dill Shrimp Sauce

  1. Peel and devein shrimp.
  2. Combine 6 quarts water, 1/2 cup salt, dill and cut up lemon.
  3. Boil 5 minutes, then add shrimp.
  4. Boil 4 minutes, turn off heat and let soak 20 minutes.
  5. Drain and remove lemon.
  6. Cut bottom off of artichokes; boil for 20 minutes. Remove, drain and let cool.
  7. Mince onion, garlic, celery and parsley to make a paste (a mini chopper works well for this). Slice the mushrooms and saute them with the paste in 2 tablespoons olive oil for 3 to 4 minutes.
  8. Set aside.
