Biscuits Supreme

  1. Stir together the flour, salt, baking powder, cream of tartar and sugar.
  2. Cut in the Crisco until the mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
  3. Add the sour cream and mix a little, then add the milk all at once, stirring until the dough forms a ball.
  4. Roll out on floured surface and knead lightly just until dough holds together nicely.
  5. Roll out to about 3/4 inches thick and cut with floured cutter.
  6. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  7. Let rise while oven heats to 400u0b0.
  8. Bake until lightly browned, about 15 minutes. Makes about 1 dozen biscuits.
  9. Serve with Honey Butter or Strawberry Butter.
