Fudge Sundae Pie

  1. Melt the first 4 ingredients in a double boiler; cool.
  2. In a 9 x 13-inch pan, melt the oleo in oven.
  3. Add the brown sugar, flour and chopped pecans; mix and spread in pan.
  4. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes at 350u0b0, stirring every 4 to 5 minutes with a fork until mixture is crumbly.
  5. Remove 1/3 of this mixture for topping; pat the rest in bottom of pan.
  6. Add a 1-inch layer of butter pecan ice cream.
  7. Cover with cooled fudge mixture; top with remaining crumbs. Freeze.
  8. Remove from freezer just before serving.
  9. Serves 16.
