Apple Cinnamon French Toast

  1. Prepare apples and French toast the day before.
  2. In large skillet, melt butter and cook apples slices over medium heat.
  3. Stir occasionally until tender.
  4. Add brown sugar, corn syrup and cinnamon to apples.
  5. Cook until sugar dissolves.
  6. Pour mixture into 9 x 13-inch pan and spread evenly.
  7. Add bread in 1 layer on top. In bowl, beat eggs, milk and vanilla with fork.
  8. Pour mixture over apples and bread.
  9. Cover and refrigerate all overnight.
  10. In the morning, place in 375u0b0 preheated oven.
  11. Bake 30 to 35 minutes. When firm and gold, remove from oven and cool 5 minutes.
  12. Invert on serving tray so apples are on top.
  13. Spoon any left in pan over bread.
