Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 c. chopped onion
- 3 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 lb. broad noodles, boiled
- 2 lb. dry cottage cheese
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 garlic bud, minced
- 2 c. water
- 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes
- 1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 c. Parmesan cheese
- Brown meat in butter.
- Add onion and garlic.
- Stir in tomato paste, water, salt and tomatoes.
- Cook over low heat for 45 minutes.
- Cook noodles; rinse and drain.
- Butter a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Line dish with layer of noodles, sauce and cheese, ending with sauce and cheese.
- Bake in a 375u0b0 oven for 30 minutes. Let stand for 10 minutes before cutting.
