Dutch Peanut Sauce For French Fries Recipe
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup unsweetened peanut butter (I used Peanut Butter & Co. Old Fashioned Smooth)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon hot paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Combine the peanut butter, mayonnaise, and honey in a large bowl and stir well.
- Thin the sauce out with the lemon juice and then stir in paprika and cayenne.
- For optimum flavor, refrigerate for at least one hour before serving. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
- You can also use other spices like coriander, cumin, or even garlic powder, to add an extra layer of flavor to this dip.
- If you use sweetened peanut butter, you may want to omit or halve the amount of honey in the recipe.
