My Irish Indian Grandmother'S Spaghetti Sauce

• 1 pkg. hamburg
• 1 pkg. sweet sausage
• 1 pkg. hot sausage
• 1 can stewed tomatoes, mashed
• 2 to 3 tsp. sugar
• Italian flakes to taste
• 1 can tomato paste (8 oz)
• 1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
• 1 can mushrooms, drained
• 1 jar spaghetti sauce (optional)
• 1 onion, chopped
• 1 pepper, chopped
• salt and pepper to taste

1. In frypan, brown hamburg and sausage (take out of casing and cut up).
2. Add onion and pepper and cook until soft; drain.
3. Put tomatoes in a saucepan (mashed).
4. Add sugar and Italian flakes to taste.
5. Add hamburger and sausage mixture to this.
6. Add tomato paste and sauce, mushrooms and spaghetti sauce.
7. Simmer for about 1 hour.
