Green Bean Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Cook and drain green beans.
  3. In a large saucepan, combine butter, flour, salt, pepper, sugar, onion, sour cream and cheese.
  4. Stir and cook over low heat until ingredients are well combined and cheese melted.
  5. Add beans, mixing well. Pour into buttered 2-quart casserole.
  6. Combine cornflakes with 1 tablespoon melted butter and sprinkle over bean mixture.
  7. Bake, uncovered, for 25 minutes.
  8. Serves 6.
